Technical Assistance

Objective: To help organizations in the region obtain the necessary equipment and information to better their practices of conservation and maintenance of immovable cultural heritage.

Results: In 2002 technical assistance was granted by the Coordination Committee to 3 countries. Computer equipment was purchased for the Institut Mauritanien de Recherche Scientifique of Mauritania, National Commission for Museums and Monuments of Nigeria, and the National Museums of Kenya.
